And the winner is:

Baby Girl!
Me in labor, no makeup, hair tussled and looking like it's time.

I was 100% convinced that I was having a boy, but low and behold we had another little girl.

On Monday night at 1:45 am I woke up to contractions. After waking Blair I hopped into the shower to get ready to head to the hospital, just in case. We had been having so much false labor that I was slightly in denial still that it was actually happening. While in the shower the contractions got closer together and much stronger, my thoughts quickly turned to "holy crap this is happening and I am going to need to get to the hospital quick". I had time to wash my hair and that was it. I jumped out of the shower threw whatever I had on and grabbed my hospital bag. This baby was coming and it was coming FAST!

We grabbed Kaiya and rushed over to my moms and then off we were to the hospital. We arrived at the hospital at about 2:45 ish. where the nurses in triage took one look at me and rushed me right in to a delivery room, they wouldn't even let Blair leave for a minute to admit me. Once in the room Blair called everyone to let them know that the babe was on it's way.

The doc had come and gone, offering to break my water to speed things up, I refused, we just got there, I was not ready to have a baby yet, besides it was sunny side up and if they broke my water before it turned it could get stuck in my pelvis and stall everything. While on all fours and hanging over a yoga ball on the bed (trying to turn baby) I was still convinced that I was looking at another 5 hours of labor and my contractions got bad. They were almost unbearable so I asked for the doc to come back and break my water, I was ready to get this over with. While the doctor was walking in the room my water broke on it's own, yay!

I got off the bed so they could change the sheets and as soon as I stood up I felt the urge to push and the babies head popped out (well crowned but it sounds more dramatic). The doc panicked, started saying "stop, stop!" and grabbed the top of the babies head. After the contraction I literally jumped back into bed, there was no way in HELL I was having that baby fall on the floor. Two pushes later and Elodie was here. She was born at 3:48 am, a whole 2 hours and 3 minutes of labor. Holy Crap! She was 8 pounds, 13 ounces. 36 cm head and 20 inches long. She is perfect.

Now comes the fun part!
