The hole has been dug

 So it's begun. The hole makes it more real and even more exciting. Some days I wonder if we are making the right decision in building. It would have been cheaper to just buy a prebuilt one but then it wouldn't be our own. I forgot how expensive building is. All the upgrades are so pricey. $400 for a small floating mantle?! Really?! Oh well, it will all be worth it. In the next two weeks we will be finalizing all of our colors, flooring, plumbing, electrical etc. then all we need to do is wait and watch it come to life.
