School is done

At least for the time being. I am not going to be taking any spring courses, I need a break. Exams are done, papers are done and now I get to fantasize about all the awesome things I am going to do with my time off. Perhaps this is what I will do:

-Take a bubble bath after babe goes to bed.
-Finish crocheting that blanket that I started 2 years ago for on our living room couch
-Actually use my serger for once
-Bake, bake and bake!
-Organize the basement
-Download new songs onto my ipod for work
-take more photos of babe on the weekend

These are all things (plus others) that I have been neglecting ever since I started school. Now for some me time.

Marks are back!!

I finally received all my marks for the courses I took this semester. I think I did pretty damn well considering I struggled with finding time for everything. If my calculations are correct I am sitting at a 92% average!! Holy Crap!! I amaze myself with my awesomeness (no modesty here).

Last day of school

Officially tomorrow is but I plan to have my last assignment handed in tonight.
It has been one HELL of a week. It was stressful at work.... beyond belief, stressful at the school end of things, and on Sunday I came down with the nasty flu bug that's been nipping everyone in the butt.

Babe got sick on Friday night, in the middle of the night, once. So when I started to feel crappy on Sunday (no help from the small hangover I had from my work Christmas party the night before) I figured it was just going to be a one time throw up thing. NOPE! I started vomiting at 8:00pm. I think it was an every 30 minutes to an hour vomit fest till 5:00 in the morning!!!! I was a mess. Needless to say I never went to work yesterday and I needed to still study for and take a final exam last night at 6:00 (I got 87%, just to let you know).

On a beautiful side note, my anti-horseshoe/bad luck spell Blair and I got hexed with might finally be wearing off. At the Christmas party I entered my name into a draw to win a $250.00 package of "date night" gift cards. Out of at least 300 people Blair and I won!! It felt good to win something, especially after such a pooptacular week.

Soon I will get to post more pictures (cause I need to take some), bake up my Christmas goodies, and start on my Christmas crafts!

Two weeks left

I only have 2 weeks left of this semester (take a few days for some courses) and I couldn't be more thrilled. Although I found myself online yesterday registering for next semester and was a little discouraged at the fact that I am supposed to be taking 7 courses and a practicum (who can keep up with that?). So I registered for 4 and no practicum. I am hoping to get my material early so I can get a start on it early (umm can you say workaholic) but since I just registered I doubt it. Needless to say, I will be finishing all of my courses, with no help or encouragement from some of my profs and since this next week is so busy, I may be a little absent.... minus zombie thoughts perhaps :)

Over and Done with

At least for now. I didn't do too shabby, I think a 78% is acceptable :)
