Every great Halloween starts with carving of the pumpkins. We did this on wednesday so that we would have tons of time for the party (coming soon).
Kaiya loved getting her hands dirty.
Next, we started off the day with a little Trick-or-Treating at the mall. This was my first experience with this and I have to say that I was very disappointed with the lack of participation of the stores. Over half put up signs that they were not part of the fun. Boo!

Now if only I could get her to go to bed. Not sure what the secret is to getting a child high on sugar and excitement to stay in bed and go to sleep. When I know I will fill you in.
