Yes, I am a scrooge and I am damn proud of it too! To me Christmas falls under that category of crappy birthdays and Hallmark Holidays. So what is my beef with Christmas? It's stressful! Money is always tight, family is always bickering and we always end up sacrificing just to keep up. I am not a big fan of the energy consumption that comes with all the "pretty lights"; I hate that it's no longer baby Jesus' birthday, but an excuse to receive presents; and it is always bloody cold (yes this is coming from the person who has a Siberian Husky for a dog).
